Separate sealed BIDS for the rehabilitation of 85-87 Elm Street will be received at the offices Lakes Region Community Developers of Laconia, NH P193 Court Street, Laconia, NH 03246 until 2 PM March 11, 2020, and then at said location publicly opened and read aloud.
This project consists of the rehabilitation of Residential Unit #3, the replacement of four heating systems with one high performance system, roofing, and other exterior improvements as described in the Scope of Work, Plans and Specifications (“CONTRACT DOCUMENTS”).
Each BID must be accompanied by a certified check payable to the OWNER for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the BID. A BID BOND may be used in lieu of a certified check.

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Stewart Associates Architects.
A Performance BOND and a Payment BOND each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price will be required.
IMPORTANT: Any change to the Bidding Documents during the bid period will be made via addenda and posted at the Issuing Office website. The prospective Bidder is responsible for checking the web site as required to obtain any/all addenda that may be issued. The Issuing Office is NOT responsible for notifying prospective Bidders when addenda are posted. This responsibility lies with the prospective Bidder.
A Non-Mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled at the Project Site at 85-87 Elm St, Laconia, NH at 10 AM Wednesday March 4, 2020. All prospective bidders are encouraged to attend this meeting. All questions are due by March 6, 2020 at 4 PM This project is funded, in part, through the New Hampshire Community Development Finance Authority under the provisions of and subject to Community Development Block Grant requirements under Title I of the U.S. Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended. Federal compliance requirements DO NOT include DAVIS-BACON RATES.
