OPEN POSITIONS

Take The Wheel NH Program Assistant

Job Title:        Take The Wheel NH Program Assistant
Reports to:     Director of Asset Management
Status:             Part-Time, Hourly
Hours:              Up to 10 hours per week
Pay Rate:         Starts at $15 per hour dependent on experience
Location:         Remote or hybrid – we are flexible

Job Summary
The Program Assistant provides administrative support for the Take the Wheel NH (TTW) program. TTW is a program that was created by LRCD, HOMEteam, Franklin Savings Bank, and Grappone Automotive Group to help New Hampshire families purchase reliable, fuel-efficient vehicles they can afford. Details about TTW can be found online at takethewheelnh.com.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Process all applications from takethewheelnh.com within 24-48 hours of receiving application, unless received over the weekend.
    • Enter applicants’ information into the google spreadsheet;
    • Save applicants’ application in google drive;
    • Email applicants with next step details or information on why they cannot be accepted to the program;
    • Register eligible applicants for the online classes; and
    • Within 72 hours’ follow-up with phone call if they have not logged into their online courses profile or contacted you.
  • Answer other inquires received through takethewheelnh.com and/or by phone within 24-48 hours of application, unless received over the weekend.
  • Track applicants’ progress through online courses.
  • Follow-up with applicants to obtain documents required for HOMEteam.
  • As necessary, upload applicants’ documents to google drive for HOMEteam.
  • Refer applicants to HOMEteam once all necessary requirements are met.
  • Attend weekly virtual check-in meetings with Director of Asset Management to review:
    • the number of applicants;
    • the number of clients referred to online courses;
    • the number of clients referred to HOMEteam;
    • the number of clients referred for financing;
    • the number of successful graduates;
    • the number of follow-up phone calls/connections made; and
    • other program updates.
  • Assist with preparation of grant applications and funder reports as needed and as assigned by supervisor.
  • Additional duties and special projects as assigned.
